This warning has been on for as long as mobile phones existence themselves and it has gone on for so long, it has become a standard.
But is it really true? Does using your device while charging affect the device adversely? Or are all these warnings just cooked up to curb mobile phone addiction?

The Truth!
Well, I am here to tell you that it is actually true. Using your mobile device while it is charging actually affects your device adversely.

How does this happen?
Now, lithium battery is the most commonly used battery in mobile phone production. This lithium battery has a habit of heating up during usage. During charging, the battery also heats ups due to the chemical process going on in the battery. The heating now increases at an exponential rate when you combine the charging process with usage. The heat now begins to damage parts of the mobile device that is not heat tolerant. For example, the explosion of a particular Samsung device was due to the device heating up and causing a combustion in the device.
